A Chihuahua's Personality

Chihuahuas are cute little dogs with big personalities. They are also known as the world's tiniest dog. Although they are small in size, their personalities make them appealing to both men and women.

A dog's body requires adequate sugar to function properly. Low blood sugar can cause problems ranging from seizures and loss of consciousness to death. It can affect the function of the heart and other organs. It is therefore important to call your veterinarian as soon as you notice that your pet has low blood sugar.

While chihuahuas are generally sociable and mellow dogs, they can be intimidating to young children. They may jump out of the child's grasp and attempt to protect themselves. As a result, many breeders will not sell puppies to children under the age of two.
